Growing up in New Jersey, just miles from the industrial fringe of New York City, I watched landscapes of innate beauty give way to factories, rusting infrastructure, and persistent pollution. That proximity sparked this photographic project: to document the relics of a bygone industrial age and the visible scars left by decades of environmental degradation.
